How do I convert a selection into a button in indesign?

Hi.
I am trying to automate converting a selected image frame (with a placed
pdf) into a button. But I cannot find the command to do it in indesign. I
also looked through the dictionairy and did not find it.
Any ideas? Is this function not scriptable?
