Hi all

I am sure this is easy but just can't find it.

How do I get the path to the desktop?

I want to write a log to the desktop but have only
been able to get it by using a "choose file" command
and copying and pasting the result into my script.
That works fine on my computer but if I move the
script to another computer I am "screwed"

Thanks
Oakley

All previous answers are good, but

path to "desk"

works in all cases.
