I disagree that scripting GC is the same as scripting PS.  Seriously.

And, GC is extremely fast when you need more info than other image tools can
provide.  (GC can process thousands of files very quickly, OMM.  That is, I
have it make thumbs and it does this quite speedily.)

Anyway, it's just my opinion that GC and PS are /not/ the same scripting
adventure.  (And besides, have you watched the load time of PS vs. GC?  GC
loads long before PS ever does.)
