Sol has insufficient mass to go nova. It is expected to become a red
giant. I do not know how this will affect FCP scripting.

I must also add that I do mathematics also because it is difficult,
and it is a very beautiful challenge for the mind. I do mathematics
to prove to myself that I am capable of meeting this challenge, and
