Setting Print specs in Excel

  • Subject: Setting Print specs in Excel

I can't find info on this anywhere.
Non of my reference books (8)
Nor on MacScripter.
[It could be that I just don't know how to ask the
correct question.]

Having said all of that - Here is my problem

Where do I find info on printing from Excel 2004. I
have printed and read the Excel 2004 reference from
Microsoft - 700+ pages - It does not help.

I need to write a script to print many Excel files.

I have it working just fine with the exception of not
being able to specify the printer parameters.
I want to send all pages to the same printer and
specify "fit to page" size - letter.

Several people touch these files and print locally
with a variety of settings. [I have no control over
consistancy]

I could run a script to check print specs and change
them first.
[if I could figure out how}
I would incorperate it into my batch print process
later.

I realize, of course, It could be done using GUI
scripting and that is what I will do if there is no
other way.

SO - can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance
Oakley
