Everyone,
I have to change the local account names on our end user workstations via a
shell script and then have the permissions set correctly so that when the
users logs in, they get everything they had before without and any apparent
changes in environment.
I will have to query the local database for the names of the home folders
based on a certain pattern. Example: Every home folder that starts with a
CA perform the script actions.
The questions I have, is how do I get the script the to repeat this until
all local home folders have had the operation performed on them? Or how do
I tell the script to take all home directories that start with CA and
perform the script actions...
Didn't know if anyone out there may have a script or know the commands that
I can put in a shell script that queries multiple instances and performs the
same actions for each instance automatically...
