Duplicate will not work for my purposes. Copying or duplicating the frame
just carries over whatever corruption exists in the original and so I'm back
to where I started. The problem is that the original graphic frame is bad
and I cannot use it (the frame behaves as if it is locked, but InDesign does
not 'officially' see the frame as locked and so it will not let me unlock
it). The only solution I've found to this is to create a brand new frame and
then re-import the graphic from the old frame into the new frame, but there
are hundreds of them in the document and I don't want to do it all by hand
(furthermore, this isn't the first time I've seen this problem and so
presumably it won't be last). So my script needs to delete the old frame and
make a new frame from scratch, re-import the graphic, and then size it,
scale it, position it, etc., exactly like the old frame.

So far I've been able to do all this except that when a frame is a polygon
with more or less sides than the current polygon prefs are set to, I can't
recreate the polygon exactly, because I can't figure out how to make a new
polygon with a specific number of sides. Also, I think I may run into
stacking order issues at some point. If anyone has any insights into that,
please let me know.

Thanks.
