The following freeware packages are available through the Late Night
Software web site.
XML Tools (AppleScript Scripting Addition)
XSLT Tools (AppleScript Scripting Addition)
Property List Tools (AppleScript Scripting Addition)
List & Record Tools (AppleScript Scripting Addition)

The XML tools does create appleScript records from xml data and I believe
Property List Tools does as well, and List & Record Tools make Records more
functional.
Of course, that's only if you are comfortable installing or bundling Osaxen.
