The AppleScript documentation these days is mostly in the form of the AppleEvent dictionary. If you look at the system events dictionary from Script Editor and in particular look at the XML and Property List suites you’ll find enough information to get started. IMHO, it’s a good start, particularly for experienced scripters, but there should be more. HTH, ES
Thanks.. :) As long as I'm not alone on this one.. I was really only hoping to force the discussion.. I do understand that there is only so much time etc.. But it would be such a big benefit to have a comprehensive feature like this.
