FileMaker Import Excel Files Question

This may not be the right place to ask but I need
insight on a direction here.
I want to import a folder of Excel files into
Filemaker Pro 8.5
[The files are all exactly the same format and the
database is formatted to receive the files]
I was doing it manually - one at a time and I know it
can be done automatically. I just don't know how.
The filemaker script step for import is fine but only
imports the first listed file. I must have done it
incorrectly. I also don't see a way to specify files
in a folder verses adding each file individually each
time.
The folder and file names change each time also.
So my question must actually be: What is the
AppleScript syntax for importing an Excel file into
Filemaker.
--pseudo code
--get list of files to import
--loop thru list
--tell filemaker to import file x
--exit loop after last file imported
Maybe the tell filemaker part would be a call to a
filemaker internal script for import - if so how do
I pass the "file to import" name/path to the internal
script?
I appreciate any help here.
Thanks
Oakley
