Stephen,

I have a script that checks the contents of fields in Filemaker Pro Databases by copying the text to a word file and checking the grammar and spelling. It may help. Contact me off the list if you are interested.

This could be quite an interesting exercise but, as I say,
quite complex. It might take you a bit of time to experiment with it and
find some workable solutions. But they are there. In addition to the Word
AppleScript Dictionary, make sure you get the Word AppleScript Reference
Guide at the MacTopia website (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/)
/Resources/Developer/AppleScript .
