Entourage already does that -- spellchecking the subject.

But, if you want to count those, then I see your goal as different than
that.  (Although, why fiddle with counting them?  If they're spam, just
ditch them.  Entourages new Junk Mail feature is more accurate than
SpamSieve, which hasn't been invoked once since I upgraded to the latest
Entgourage.)

Yes.  Google for Xspell, from Jean Baptiste LeStang.

That's an OSAX (scripting extension) that does just that.
