[See Phil Aker's answer for the nuts and bolts, which is not AppleScript,
but it's the best flippin' underpinning you'll get around here, I'll wager.]
I'd like to see Phil and Has in a naked chocolate-pit argue-off.
Maybe next year? Any takers? Or Akers?

Or, rather, since there is no manual, read Matt Neuberg's book.
That will surely save us all some bandwidth of late.
