Hi Mark,

No the file is just a PDF file of normal type. It has no special features and my permissions are OK, I have read and write privileges.

The info in question is just the answers to some questions that the script gains from the user and that part of the script works fine.

I have also found that the script works OK on other iMacs and on 2 Laptops, a G5 and a G4.

That leaves me with a non- AS problem, I think.

You said "this_info" . . . are you expecting the name to change in an

Hi,

While working on a script for someone on this list, I discovered that I can
no longer rename files using "vanilla" applescript on my computer. OS X
10.5.1.
Shell scripts are OK.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
