To Stay Open

... or not to stay open. That is the question.

Seriously, if you have an editable AppleScript application, how can you tell if it has been saved as "Stay Open" or not?

You would think that you could open it with Script Editor or Smile, look at the Save As... menu and see what the files current status is. But NO!

If you simply Save, with either editor, the file it will retain the current "Stay Open" status, but will not tell you what it is. The Save As... menu will always save as NON-Stay-Open by default.

I've looked in the application bundle's Info.plist file, but nothing there. (and I really didn't expect to find anything there.) So how does the Finder know, when you launch an application, that it's Stay- Open?
