Script error with Tex-Edit Plus

Hi,

I edited a script I have used for years with Tex-Edit Plus and now when I call it (from the scripts menu) I get an Error 
"AppleScript error
The script is flawed or AppleScript is installed improperly.
...".

If I just run the script it works fine.

Script is saved as a script.

I seem to remember from the past that there is some trick to installing scripts in the Script folder. Can't find any clues on what that might be.

Tex-Edit Plus 4.9.8, OS 10.4.8.

Any thoughts?
