It's not the double-slash; the path is different. Note the lack of
"/mailman/" in the working link. And no, clicking on the word
"Archives" in the footer doesn't work for me - it's not even a link in
the messages I get, just a plaintext label preceding the (incorrect)
URL. If some listmom-type could update the footer for the list so
that the correct URL is included, that would be helpful.

It's the double slash after mailman that's causing the problem, not the
capitalisation. Clicking on the word 'Archives' in the footer works though.
