I haven't researched this too much but there appears to be a
significant change in the scripting support of Stuffit Deluxe 11 vs
10. The Stuffit Deluxe app, which had a decent dictionary and was
recordable, has been effectively replaced by the Stuffit Archive
Manager which is not scriptable. Stuffit 11 does have automator
support but it has a problem according to the Stuffit folks. my
scripts broke as a result of this change. so before upgrading make
sure you check out the new version.
i thought folks might want to know.
I must say the Smith Micro folks were nice about it. I sent them a
flame, not asking for a refund, and they gave me a refund along with
directions on how to remove 11 and reinstall 10.
