Hi All - Happy New Year!,

I want to report to all who have helped me with this problem. I apologize for all the confusion. I'm definitely doing something very non-standard and very bizarre.

I have fixed the problem by switching to a ShellScript. It seems the terminal does not report an error if a bad file name is given. So now my launch and quit application functions work as I need (no error messages). This was a simple fix and I should have done this earlier and not wasted everyones time. Sorry about that!

Thanks,
Craig
