Photoshop warp and smart object script - is that possible?

Hi,

I am trying to make a Photoshop script that allows me to select a pdf file
and place it into a psd as a smart object and then applies a warp effect to
it. I have to do this for 15 different languages for a multitude of books.

So what I need help on is:

1)how I can copy a warp effect from one smart object to another. I.e. were
is this property stored? and what command do I use to apply a warp effect.

2) How do I convert a pdf to smart object in Photoshop? Just an idea so I go
in the right direction would be helfpul.

Best, Patrik
