Hi
Let me re-state my question.
What I have is 12 iMacs running Mac OS X - Tiger. There is no server
on the network, so thus no LDAP server.
I want to create a local user called student on each of the 12 iMac
systems (NetInfo DB - whatever)
Is there an Apple Script I can run remotely using ARD (Apple Remote
Desktop)?

Use LDAP for authentication (google howto or do search on LDAP at

will need to add/delete users to LDAP server.
I do hope that Mac OS X is smart enough to create new user
automatically once he/she logged in first time...

Hi
Any ideas where to get an Apple Script to Add users on remote
computers?
I have 12 iMac's with Apple Remote Desktop enabled.
I wanted to run an Apple script to add a user called "student"
with the password set as "student" in all the 12 iMacs
Any ideas how else to go about achieving this?
Rishi
