Hi,

Hopefully a quick question:

I can run the following command at the top level with no problems:

set theImagesFile to POSIX file theFile

However, when I put it inside tell application "QuarkXPress", which I need to, I get the following error:

"QuarkXPress got an error: Can't get POSIX file \"/Users/GlobeMac1/ Work/Interhome/Scans/I300020a_s.tif\" of page 1 of document 1."

So, how do I run the command within the tell application section.

Hello

I assumes that the application QuarkXPress want an old fashioned path, something like:

"TheVolume:Users:myAccount:GlobeMac1:Work:Interhome:Scans:I300020a_s.tif "
