How would I sort out automatically backing up my scripts as I change
them?
I'm thinking of something almost like Leopard's Time Machine (except
will not get Leopard until my Mac breaks...) -- backing up a file as
you change it wouldn't make much sense for huge media files, but it
would make perfect sense for tiny script files.
Something like, add username and date (--user--2007-06-09--09-46) to
the filename and store it in a Versions folder? Would it be worth
trying to learn how to do Folder Actions things (have never got my
head round Folder Actions)?
PS I have about three users, who are all me doing different things
with different data. It's yet another reason to avoid synchronising
the wrong version of a file...
Regards, Ruth
