Guess you mean change CFBundleSignature that is exactly the same shown by finder as Creator Type.
Well no, I actually did mean CFBundleIdentifier. Take a look at
TextEdit's contents and open its info.plist. You will find a
setting in there that is -
CFBundleIdentifier string com.apple.TextEdit
Depending on what app makes a bundle this setting may or may not
be included. Personally I feel it's a bug when it isn't there
but I do understand why it isn't usually there in script bundles.
