I'm trying to duplicate a layer. I have figured out how to rename it. I have figured out how to make is invisible or visible. I just can't figure out how to duplicate it. I'm sure it's pretty simple, but I can't get it to work.

I never figured out how to duplicate a layer, but why don't just create a new layer?

tell application "QuarkXPress"
	tell document 1
		make new layer at beginning with properties {name:"xxx"}
	end tell
end tell

Peter
