InDesign EPS export

  • Subject: InDesign EPS export

Hi all,

I'm working on a script to export EPS (and PDF) files from InDesign CS2. These two methods can yield hugely different results in terms of the EPS file size:

1. Export EPS from InDesign directly (often gives HUGE file)
2. Export PDF from InDesign, open in Acrobat, Save As EPS (gives MUCH smaller file)

I'm trying to determine if I can script method 1, but with the small EPS size from method 2, or whether I have to script method 2.
