Which reminds me:
Adobe are ripping off customers outside of the US.
They are charging UK and European customers much more than double the equivalent US dollar price for CS3 upgrades and packages.
I represent an international photographic organisation that is based in the UK (pro-imaging.org). We are the only organisation that refuse to admit photographers who sell Royalty Free images and one of the few in the UK who are authorized by Adobe to admit photographers into the Adobe Photographers Directory.
In spite of our close links with Adobe, we are recommending that professional image makers NOT purchase Adobe's products outside of the US until their rip-off pricing policies are ended.
A European petition started by Danielle Libine on 30 March has already attracted 9000 signatures from disgruntled Adobe customers:
Users and scripters outside of the US have also had to put up with Adobe's shocking payload of legacy code that has made using their products a nightmare over the last few years.
I fail to see why we should asked to pay more than double the price for the same product and thereby subsidize the product price for US users.
