Hi all,
it was two years ago that I installed the original version -received on
April 29, 2005 - of Mac OS X 10.4. It took me less that a day of usage
to fall into this bug and many others (and I still get one every week or
month... WITHOUT SEARCHING THEM! and that is the worst!)
And the following bug in Tiger's AppleScript is still present and active:
tell application "Finder"
set position of front window to {0,44}
end tell
of course, many, many other bugs (bith in AppleScript and elsewhere in
Tiger) are still here despite 9 updates.
My only hope is to see 10.5 with less, far less bugs.
Sadly yours,
Emile
PS: I do not care to know that in any 10.5 preliminary build
(development, alpha, beta, final candidate) this - or any of the bugs I
found - bug was removed. I do not have this "bug free" version, so...
October, you said October ?
That will be two years and a half with ALL THOSE bugs...
