No, I believe it really is a stack overflow. The Satimage command I am using
is "list files recursive true" which in this case results in a list of
48.000 file specifications

It runs as expected though, it is only at the end, when (I assume)
AppleScript is about to store the script and it's variables that the error
occurs

I would file a bug at <http://bugreport.apple.com>. You need an ADC membership, which is free.
