I'ld also like to see an actual case statement and better index usage

set some_list to {"I", "want","to","be","a","string"}
set some_string to some_list using text delimiters "whatever"
rather than the longer version:
• set variable to current delimiters
• set current delimiters to user defined
• coerce the list to string
• set delimiters back
