I have Finder preferences set to open a new Finder window in my

tell application "Finder"
if not (exists Finder window 1) then make new Finder window

I have my Finder keys set up the same. It's one of the first tweaks I
make. I can confirm the script behavior.
I went to System Preferences to change the keys back just to double
check the behavior. All the custom key bindings I made previously
don't show up (although they are in the menus and work). If a person
didn't know how to work with preferences files directly, this could
be a problem if they wanted to delete some key bindings.
