WTF have Apple done with Address Book?

They also now sort multiple email address entries in each contact by the email *type*, which means the user is no longer in control of which address is the main address. Consequently, I've been sending lots of email to coworkers' home address instead of their work address. That's sick and wrong and I've filed a bug radar://5587911. At first it came back "by design". Um, no. Maybe "by BAD design".

Never before has a major release contained so many annoying bugs and poor design choice changes as 10.5 and Xcode 3.0, or at least bugs/ changes that adversely affect my day-to-day work.

Also note that asking Finder for a file's "name extension" now fails if (I assume) the extension isn't claimed by any application. Try it on some file with a made-up extension that you know doesn't exist in any app. You'll get "" instead. I also reported that as radar://5590050.
