Selection in PhotoShop CS3

  • Subject: Selection in PhotoShop CS3

In PhotoShop 7 I could select all and translate zero so selection would become whatever is on current layer excluding transparent portion. Same thing could be accomplished manually if you selected all and with the move tool chosen, hit an arrow key on keyboard. This however doesn't work in CS3 even though I can still do it manually. Anyone know another way to select everything on a layer without any transparent parts included?

Tell application "Adobe Photoshop CS3"
select all of current document
translate layer "ArtLayer" of current document delta x 0 as pixels delta y 0 as pixels
end tell
