Thanks for the interest here.  But some of you are missing part #2 of my
original post.  This involves not dates from 1000 to 1099 but rather
possibly all dates when using Japanese region or Japanese calendar and
possibly other International settings.

Please scroll down further to the "y2k" and not the "y1k" script.

This makes developing for a global user base quite impossible if you are
scripting anything involving date strings.
