Simple GUIs

  • Subject: Simple GUIs

I've mostly been "away" from applescript since I started to use OS X but I've started to create a few new scripts for myself. One thing I would like to do now and then is to add some simple GUI, that is some kind of dialog/window with a few edit fields, checkboxes, radio buttons etc. Very simple stuff. In the pre-OS X days there was one or two extensions to do this (I've forgotten the names). How do you do this today?

I've looked briefly at AppleScript Studio but it seems a little bit "too much" for what I'm looking for (my applescripts are usually run "within" another application).

So my question is: is there some simple extension/tool for doing this or should I be using AppleScript Studio?

                                        jem
