Hmmm! Leopard 10.5.1. Terminal->locate cron ->
/private/var/at/cron.deny
/usr/bin/crontab
/usr/lib/cron
/usr/sbin/cron
/usr/share/man/man1/crontab.1.gz
/usr/share/man/man5/crontab.5.gz
/usr/share/man/man8/cron.8.gz
/usr/share/vim/vim70/syntax/crontab.vim

So, although launchd has taken over previous cron functions, it's still there,
and can be used as in the past.
