Try this ...
display alert "TEST" message "no message" buttons {"OK"}
delay 5
display alert "TEST" message "finished" buttons {"OK"} giving up
after 4
If you immediately click OK for the first dialog, then wait, the
second dialog only appears briefly, not for the desired 4 seconds.
Wha???? Something's wrong! Any suggestions?
