Hi guys.

Sorry about the title, but I was thinking if there's a way to import tracks in iTunes and just do a copy and stop
all the artwork processing, etc. just to speed up the import? Is there a way to speed it up in any way? I also
noticed there was also a track's volume analysis thingy that it does whenever it imports. How do I disable that?

AFAIU, the lengthy part is when iTunes reads the whole track to fine-tune its volume settings. This is because "Sound check" is enabled in the Prefs' "Playback" section. Don't ask me how to change that setting using AppleScript, though.

I mean using applescript, at least...

Doh! I told you not to ask!
