Apple announced today that the next version of the Mac OS will be
called Lion, Mac OS X 10.6. It will run only on Macintosh
computers that are powered by Lithium Ion (LiOn) batteries, which
is the impetus for the name. People with Macintosh computers that
do not use LiOn batteries will have to wait until Mac OS 11, which
will be called Lynx. Mac OS 11 will be based on the Lynx operating
system instead of BSD, hence the name and the renumbering of the OS.
I don't know what this will mean for Applescript, though.
April the 1st is fine but I'm not sure that lions like to eat fishes ;-)
Here in France we where said that next memory will be made of
moistures named : Guanine et la Cytosine.
