Interesting!
I am not an Earthlink subscriber and have a few of those Earthlink pages coming up.
If you are also not an Earthlink subscriber and have the "same page", may be this page is settable via a preference p-file.
I tried but could not find it... Yet.
However if this file it is found, then yes! The page can be set via AppleScript.
Wanna help me find it?

I am an earthlink customer and you may be too, without knowing it, if you live in the US and have an ISP that contracts its broadband DSL service through Earthlink or Sprint or one of several other DSL services.

if I type qwert as a url I get re-directed to this URL:

http://earthlink-help.com/main? AddInType=Bdns&Version=1.3.1el&FailureMode=1&ParticipantID=xj6e3468k634h y3945zg3zkhfn7zfgf6&ClientLocation=us&FailedURI=http://qwert/

But if we could route that to a local page that would be cool. Any ideas?
