One Finder and one iTunes Question?

Hi All,
I have two questions that I thought someone might be able to help with.
1. How can I write a script that will Zip up a folder? Basically I
want the same action as when you Control+Click on a File in the
Finder and Select "Create Archive".
2. How can I get the location of the music folder as set in the
iTunes Preference panel?
