i've got an applescript which acts as a software installer. while it's worked very well over the past few years, we've noticed lately that more enduser workstations are being locked down (ex: user doesn't have privs to modify the Applications directory). is there any way to have the applescript throw the authentication dialog itself with the finder so that it can perform the necessary Duplicate tasks?

fwiw - we've tried using stuff stuffit installermaker in the past and had some issues and it's hard to spend the $$$ for mindvision vise (as good as it is!)

Install Developer tools and use Apple's PackageMaker or use Iceberg at <http://s.sudre.free.fr/Software/Iceberg.html>.
