BBEdit Preview

  • Subject: BBEdit Preview

I have a script that takes text from a database and pops it into a new BBEdit window to allow editing (and another script to put the modified text back). Since this is often HTML text, I often open up the BBEdit HTML preview window, but can't figure out how to automate this.

BBEdit's AppleScript dictionary has two commands that are close to what I want (but no cigar): "preview as text" (converts the html to its text equivalent) and "preview in browser" (apparently only an external browser).

Does anybody know how to persuade BBEdit to preview HTML in its own built-in preview window?
