Saving graphs

Hello

How to import many thousands of Excel 2004 graphs from clipboard into Appleworks 6 (PR) slides on my iMac 10.5.2? Without manual controls though, while  a special sequence number must be given to each of those slides. 
To me, Applescript seems not to be able to controle Appleworks "Controls" window.
Or am I, as an old THINK-Pascal worker, an inconvertible to OOPS.
Earlier, Filemaker Pro 9 gave me that same problem.
