First, no retail version of Tiger for Intel Macs was ever released; installing Tiger on an Intel Mac requires the OS X 10.4.x install disc that shipped with, and is labeled for, that specific Mac.


Second, the license that accompanies an individual copy of OS X allows its installation on a single Mac, so installing it on a second Mac, without removing it from the first one, is in fact a violation of the license, regardless of the medium from which it's installed.
