A recent thread on AppleScript Discussions revealed that Internet Connect
(from Tiger) still works just fine as a stand alone application in
Leopard...


By chance, does Internet Connect have the dialing feature you need?

Internet Connect only dials the phone in order to connect to an ISP. It does not have the ability to dial a number for a voice conversation.
