You're apologizing, but you agree with me. I wasn't able to see Doug's
code snippet (GMail Mobile decided it was "quoted text" and
disappeared it) so I didn't realize he had supplied one. In my last
message I asked which qualifier he used; now I see it was "some".
In which case iTunes should clearly return a single item, and the fact
that it is not doing so is a bug.
My only additional point, which I think is also the one Matt was
making, is that
every item whose blah
(note the "every") should *always* return a list, no matter what
"blah" is, even if there's only ever exactly one item for which blah
is true.
