I notice that my script that I wrote for Tiger, to mount a network drive and display it on the user desktop, no longer shows the shortcut on the desktop.

Any ideas?
I just want to mount a volume and display it on the desktop....

-here is my old script, any help or suggestions are welcome.

tell application "Finder"
mount volume "afp://user:email@hidden/Student Share"
end tell

Check the General panel of Finder Preferences.
