Inserting file names in files

I have 10000 text files numbered 00001 and up in 10 folders, each file
beginning
{#filename#
because I was planning to use BBEdit's update folder command to
replace #filename# with the file name.
But BBEdit's update folder command is off on holiday, it seems to run
ok, very fast, but does nothing.
Is there any other way I can get the file name inserted at the
beginning of each file?
Thanks for any pointers you can offer.
