Where's Apple's iTunes scripting guide? You can't have it both ways:
blame the third-party vendors for poor documentation and then
neglect your own responsibilities. Sheesh.
The point is that you can't blame Applescript or the Applescript
developers at Apple for shortcomings in the documentation of scripting
of applications, regardless of whether those apps are third-party apps
or in-house apps.
Have you ever even used "make"? (that's rhetorical sarcasm) Half the
time it doesn't support what you think it should. And getting it to
work the other half of the time can sometimes be a challenge.
